The AdvanTrode Essential Electrotherapy Electrode has outperformed all other carbon film electrodes with better dispersion, lower impedance and a longer-lasting hydrogel adhesive.

When measuring the conductivity of the TENS electrodes the number is measured in ohms of impedance. The lower the number, the more conductive the electrode is. The more conductive the electrode, the user/patient will have to decrease the amount of electrical current (output) going from the TENS unit to the electrode.

This provides a safer, more effective treatment, along with increases 9V battery life on the TENS unit. Also, the more conductive the electrode, the better it will disperse the electrical current across the electrode pad and skin of the patient. The result is a dramatic improvement in patient comfort and overall treatment.
