More Information

The Dale® Abdominal Binder is a unisex "one size fits most" hook and loop closure compression belt which accommodates waist sizes ranging between 30-45 inches. The new pre-paneled stretch material includes a joining stitch which prevents skin from protruding through or between the binder panels. This innovative design prevents exposed skin from tears, burns or even potential scarring. The 12 inch belt width comfortably supports the core while still providing users with a full range of motion. The Abdominal Binder is worn by wrapping the belt around the abdomen with the hook and loop closure facing in the front. The binder should feel comfortably snug without restricting breathing or blood flow.

An Abdominal Binder may be recommended for support following a cesarean section, bariatric surgery, exploratory laparotomy, hysterectomy, tummy tuck or spinal surgery. Individuals with OI (orthostatic intolerance) may use the binder to help prevent blood pooling and increase systolic blood pressure. Women may use an Abdominal Binder after childbirth to secure core muscles and aid with weight loss. Other users may wear a binder to support their abdomen during daily activities, stooping and heavy lifting.
