Founded in 1985, and with headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Fitterfirst distributes over 300 products, many of them manufactured in their home plant, that include balance boards, foam rollers, exercise ball chairs, and resistance tubing as well as ergonomically balanced ‘Active Sitting’ office chairs and other ‘Active Office’ tools such as the sit-stand desks and desk toppers.

1993 – The UOFC Award - Fitterfirst became the first company to work with the University of Calgary in the “Strategic Thrust of Interdisciplinary Education” which had the company involved in working with the Industrial Design School, the Research Department of Foothills Hospital, and the Masters MBS Program.
