Around 1990, Eric Parsells invented the Plyoback rebounder (link to product) to help reduce the amount of time and energy a physical therapist would have to spend throwing a medicine ball back and forth for therapeutic exercise with their patients.

After the success of the Plyoback, other innovative fitness products followed such as the DynaDisc, a balance cushion of exceptional quality that has become an essential piece of equipment for physical therapy and sports training. Over the years Exertools has become one of the top manufacturers in aiding the development of balance, strength, core stabilization, overall fitness and center of gravity training.

With his years of being involved in sports and conditioning, Eric Parsells became an industry expert and inventor/designer of 11 trademarked and patent pending products. After gaining the national distribution rights to the trademarked medicine ball, the Plyoball, Parsells developed the very first medicine ball rebounder, the Plyoback Rebounder.

Other trademarked product inventions by Parsells include the DynaDisc, Focus Board, Dyna Boards, The Golf Whip, DynaTubing, Mini and Pro Swivel Trees, and the Menu Driven Cable Column.
