Optimal Function Through Superior Design
The Upper Body Ergometer is constructed with bi-directional resistance and an adjustable crank. The adjustable hand crank on this system is designed to be able to rotate up to 180 degrees to allow for opposing arm motions or pedaling with both arms in unison. The range of motion is also adjustable, with setting options of 6.5", 7.5" 8.5" and 9.5". The body position angle can be adjusted, which helps to make the handle positions more comfortable for both standing or seated users. The ergometer has a low starting resistance that can be adjusted in 1/10th increments up to level 200, providing a total of 20 resistance level options and making the ergometer adaptable for users of different abilities. The belt drive makes operation super smooth and quiet for a more pleasant exercise routine that won't disturb others.
Adaptable, User-Friendly Console Display
The display console pivots and can be tilted at different angles to allow the user to view it easily, no matter what position they are in. The display provides readouts of time, speed, distance, and calories burned, and shows the workout level that has been chosen. It also shows RPM, METS, and WATTS.
The Upper Body Ergometer is desiged to give the user feedback on how well they have done with the workout program they have chosen, making it great for rehabilitation therapy, weight loss programs, and strength building programs. The console offers several different workout settings, including custom options for optimum adaptability. The workout programs available to choose from are: Custom Interval, Random, Hill, Track, Iso Kinetic, Iso Strength, Custom HR, Cardio/Weight Loss, and ActivZone (tm).
Wheelchair Accessible
The Upper Body Ergometer is available with a wheelchair ramp that allows wheelchair users to roll right up to the console. If a seat is desired, two different seat options are available: a vertical adjustable seat, and a side swivel seat which is especially helpful for wheelchair users or those with mobility challenges. The seat carriage can also be pulled away to allow access for a wheelchair, and the user can then be transferred to the ergometer's seat if desired.
